Claims after a car crash
Hurt in a crash you didn’t cause? Start with your health; we’ll take the insurers.
Most crash cases here are ordinary: a red light, a rear-end at a stop, a car sliding through on ice. Ordinary doesn’t mean simple. The other driver’s insurer will call soon, sound friendly and ask for a recorded statement. You don’t have to give one. Send them to us, keep your appointments, and save every bill and receipt in one envelope.
We handle

Questions after a car crash
Should I talk to the other driver’s insurance company?
You can give them your name and contact details, but you don’t need to give a recorded statement or sign anything. Tell them your lawyer will be in touch, and let us take it from there.
The crash was in Idaho but I live in Washington. Does that matter?
It can. Each state has its own deadlines and its own rules on shared fault. We’re admitted in both, so we look at where the crash happened, where everyone lives and which policies apply before we decide where to file.
How long do I have to bring a claim?
Every state sets a deadline, and it can be shorter for claims against a city or county. Call soon so we can work out yours from the date and place of the crash.
My car is totaled. Can you help with that too?
Yes. Property damage is usually settled first and separately. We’ll help you get the car valued fairly and a rental arranged, at no extra fee for that part.

No recovery, no attorney’s fee. Case costs such as records, filing fees and experts are separate: we advance them, and your written fee agreement says whether you repay them if the case doesn’t recover.
